 WHAT IS IT? CAGD IS AN ALL-VOLUNTEER, ALL-WOMAN ORGANIZATION IN THE GREATER PHOENIX AREA

SIZE: 43 LADIES LEAGUES 

ESTABLISHED:  50 YEARS AGO

COST TO JOIN: $8.00 PER YEAR

CAGD ORGANIZES:  

>  5 TOURNAMENTS EACH YEAR: FOR CAGD MEMBERS ONLY, AT BOTH PRIVATE AND PUBLIC COURSES.  THESE ARE DON'T MISS EVENTS.  WATCH CLGA's WEBSITE AND THE BULLETIN BOARDS FOR DETAILS

> 5 BLIND DRAWS EACH YEAR     WHEN?  DATES FOR ALL 6 ARE LISTED BELOW.   HOW MUCH?  PRICE TO PARTICIPATE: $1.00 EACH TIME.   HOW TO ENTER EACH TIME?   PAY $1 ENTRY WHEN CHECKING IN FOR LEAGUE PLAY (on  a Bind Draw day).  HOW IT WORKS:  On CLGA blind draw days all participants' scores are sent to CAGD's Blind Draw Chair for submission into the pool of scores submitted from all other leagues' participants. "Blind Drawing" from the pool blends two players' scores at a time, and a Net Score is computed for each 'blind drawn' pair.   All Net Scores are cross-compared to determine the Blind Draw (low score) winners.   Payouts for winning Blind Draws entrants are given as chits in the winning members' pro shops.
